TEC Certified Products
TEC Certified Products have undergone additional scrutiny, and have met our analysts’ stringent requirements. For a product to be certified, the vendor must deliver a formal product demonstration. Each demonstration follows a script developed by our analysts, and shows how the product supports a specific subset of features.
The goal is for the vendor to demonstrate that its responses to TEC's RFI accurately describe the product’s capabilities. This confirms for our analysts that the vendor understands the RFI criteria, and increases the chance that, during a selection project, you and the vendor are speaking the same language when you talk about features and functions.
Based on the results of the demonstration, our analysts may adjust the product’s RFI ratings to ensure that the product is represented as accurately as possible in TEC’s Evaluation Centers and Showcases.
All certified products bear the TEC Certified seal.
If the vendor has begun but not completed the certification process for a given product, the TEC Certification in Progress seal appears in the Vendor Showcase.
